    AURIS IT Consult GmbH

    Senior Developer · Steyr, Austria

I build the parts of retail software that auditors care about. Fiscalisation integrations across several countries, and one licensing system meant to replace every product-specific implementation in the portfolio instead of becoming the next one.

    What I did

    • Designed and implemented a centralised licensing system for the whole product landscape
    • Built multi-country fiscalisation integrations for POS cash registers
    • Collaborates on architecture workshops and mentors developers while staying on core POS delivery

    pink robin GmbH

Senior Software Architect / Team Lead · Graz, Austria

Five developers, one platform that could not stop shipping. We restructured the core architecture while delivery kept moving, automated the release path and cut deployment time by 40%. Code quality went from opinion to pipeline rule through static analysis and shared lint gates.

    What I did

    • Redesigned the core product architecture together with the development lead
    • Built the deployment automation that cut release work by 40%
    • Introduced static analysis and lint rules as repo-wide quality gates
    • Led a team of five and mentored developers into new technical areas

    Pixelpoint Multimedia GmbH

    Senior Developer · Klagenfurt, Austria

Tourism portals for German clients, where the map was the product. The Leaflet and Vue mapping application I wrote became the default on every tourism site the company shipped afterwards — one implementation instead of one per contract. I ran the Brandenburg portal and its regional subsites end to end, built the first SaaS prototype for the cleantech energy-community product enixi, and was the only developer and main contact for the Bitmovin landing page.

    What I did

    • Built the reusable Leaflet/Vue mapping plugin adopted by 100% of company tourism sites
    • Primary developer and customer contact for the Brandenburg tourism portal used by thousands of visitors
    • First working prototype of the enixi cleantech energy-community SaaS
    • Sole developer and main contact for the Bitmovin landing page, on Next.js and Contentful

Part-time (20 h/week) from 04/2019 to 04/2020 while serving as Development Lead at Agitron d.o.o.

  4. 04/2019 – 04/2020

    Agitron d.o.o.

Development Lead (Part-Time) · Maribor, Slovenia

Electronic price tags that reprice themselves when the weather changes and double as indoor-navigation beacons. I redesigned the architecture, hired the team and we shipped a working prototype: backend, dynamic pricing logic reacting to external factors, and the custom hardware partner kept in the loop. Part-time on paper; in practice I sometimes slept in the office, which is why it lasted exactly one year.

    What I did

    • Redesigned the architecture of the e-ink price tag platform and led its prototype
    • Dynamic pricing logic reacting to external factors such as weather and local events
    • Hired and led the development team; mentored every new developer
    • Joined the CEO in customer presentations and represented the company at conferences

Part-time, in parallel with reduced hours at Pixelpoint.

  5. 06/2016 – 04/2019

    Agitron d.o.o.

    Technical Consultant · Maribor, Slovenia

Agitron was the spin-off built on the customer-tracking prototype I had written at Anolis, so after I moved to Austria the owners kept calling. For three years I advised them on architecture and technology-stack decisions and sat in on hiring — freelance, and light enough to fit around a full-time job.

    What I did

    • Advised leadership on architecture and technology-stack choices, improving scalability and maintainability
    • Assessed and evaluated candidates for the development team

    Stack

    C#Node.jsMSSQLDocker

Freelance alongside the full-time role at Pixelpoint.

  6. 12/2012 – 05/2016

    Anolis s.p.

Software Developer / Architect / Team Lead · Maribor, Slovenia

Print ordering used to be a phone call and a spreadsheet. I built the customer-facing upload and ordering site, wrote the price calculation from scratch, and wired accepted orders straight into the production pipeline — 50% more throughput without more people.

    What I did

    • End-to-end web-to-print automation: upload, pricing, production handoff, status updates
    • Order-to-shipping productivity up 50%
    • Custom PHP and C# CMS platforms, plus a single-page radio site that never interrupts playback
    • Team lead and developer on Škoda campaign microsites

Freelance web development for CarPro s.p. from 10/2013 to 06/2016.

  7. 12/2010 – 11/2012

Laboratory for Computer Graphics and Artificial Intelligence

    Teaching Assistant · Maribor, Slovenia

My first job was making other people’s research run faster. A forest-growth simulation that took weeks per run ran in days once I turned it into a distributed system — C++, CUDA and a lot of Qt.

    What I did

    • Redesigned the forest-growth simulation to run distributed: weeks to days
    • Implemented the image classification system on Kohonen self-organising maps
    • Teaching assistant for computer graphics and neural networks
