Work

Production systems I worked on, and my part in them

Sixteen years of work, plus the things I keep running at home. Some of these systems I designed from nothing. Others were already running when I arrived, and my job was to make them better without breaking them. Every entry says which is which. Each one also carries an evidence grade, so you can see how much of the story is documented and how much is just me remembering. Where the notes run out, the page stops talking.

In-Store Customer Behaviour Tracking Prototype

MEDIUM

A web agency wanted to build a product for physical stores. The idea was to find out how customers move through a shop and what they do there, in the same way a website shows how visitors behave online. Nobody had built this before in the company, so it started with a prototype that had to prove the idea.

JavaScript / Node.js and database technologies listed across the roles; exact prototype stack not fully specified
