Video-Platform Landing Page and Headless CMS Integration
Primary customer-facing developer
JavaScriptHTML/CSSContentful headless CMSCompany web stack
Problem
A video technology company needed a marketing landing page that its own team could edit without a developer. The page had to load fast and be easy to change. The company also needed one developer who knew the project and could talk to them directly.
Approach
- I was the only developer on this project.
- I was also the main contact for the client, so questions and changes came straight to me.
- I built the landing page in Next.js and React.
- I connected the page to Contentful, the headless CMS the client already used.
- I worked from the client's designs and built the pages to match them.
Architecture and design decisions
- I used Next.js for the website and Contentful as the place where the content lives.
- I kept the content apart from the page code, so the client team could change text and sections in Contentful and did not need me for every edit.
Outcomes
- I delivered the landing page and connected it to the client's CMS.
- The client team could manage its own content in Contentful.
- I was the only developer and the main contact for the whole project.
Known gaps
- I have no numbers for traffic, load times or how much the page changed over time.
- I do not describe the content structure in Contentful or how the team used it.
- The page does not cover hosting, deployment or search engine results.
- I do not know if the landing page still runs in this form today.
